The library's digitized historical holdings currently comprise over 1,000 volumes.
Priority is given to digitizing publications and collections related to the church history of the Rhineland and Cologne that:
- are of particular importance to the Archdiocese,
- have not yet been digitized by other institutions,
- exhibit unique copy-specific features, such as handwritten annotations.
Works commissioned for digitization by library users are also included.
The current organization into individual collections is dynamic and subject to change as new material is added.
Please note that there may be overlaps between collections, as individual works can be assigned to multiple collections.
Detailed searching within these collections is possible via both the search bar and the Search Details tab. There, you can specify various criteria for your search.
