Dry-point ruling, double bounding lines, three lines between columns; top and bottom text lines go to edge of page and across gutter; bounding lines end at text lines prickings in outer margin text above top line. Titles (added 15c) above columns on f. 10r, identifying the four versions of the psalter.

the column with Greek transliteration is frequently copied by a different scribe from Latin texts or by same scribe using a smaller module.

Buchschmuck

  • 2- to 4-line red intials for psalms; 1-line rubricated verse initials;
  • tituli in red rustic capitals; f. 9r-v in red rustic capitals, partly faded by water.

Herkunft
This ms. is a copy of Bamberg, Staatliche Bibliothek, Bibl. 44 (A.I.14), a ms. written at St. Gall in 909, and brought to Bamberg in 11c in. (see F. Leitschuh, Katalog der HSS der königlichen Bibl. zu Bamberg, vol. 1.1 [1895, repr. Wiesbaden, 1966], pp. 36-39). Psalterium Quadruplex in Essen, Münsterschatz, is from same model.
