Schrift und Hände

littera carolina; double-c form of "a" used regularly after "r". One hand.

Buchschmuck

  • 3- to 6-line initials in square capitals, red or black;
  • 5-line S with dog in lower curve, blot in upper, f. 2r;
  • tituli and first lines in rustic capitals, tituli red;
  • pericopes in uncials.

Hinzufügungen

Frequent marginalia, by same hand as text, smaller pen and module, with parallel lines and flourishes above and below each gloss, as also on all four sides of quire signatures; interlace practice in rectangles, showing points for geometric construction of interlace, ff. 1r and 38v-39v. Greek words rendered fairly well, suprascript transliterations added by a correcting hand ff.7, 9r-v. Not identifiable with Decker, nr. 48 (see Frenken , loc. cit.).
