  • space left blank for major initials (9-11 lines) on ff. 2r, 2v, 33r, and 34r; minor initials and paragraph markers (2 lines) alternate red and blue, with pen flourishing usually in the opposite color; some of this flourishing is erased in margins to make room for additional glosses.

Marginalia by one other hand throughout in 14c littera cursiva (outside gloss columns); chapter numbers and other notes in lead.
