- 5- to 26-line decorated initials (painted interlace, foliate, some inhabited or historiated: dogs (?) f. 2va, monkey 4vb, nude man with eyes being pecked by a stork 8va, lobster and nude man with sword and shield 91va, dragons/griffins 65ra, human face and figure and dogs 111va, dragons and dogs devouring human figure 143va; colored in blue, green, red, brown, black; use of gold, white highlights);
- some major initials omitted passim and after f. 184;
- minor initials alternating red and blue with minor decoration, some with pen-flourishing in opposite color;
- pericopes in double-size letters, double spaced;
- lemmata underlined within commentary;
- first line f. 1r in romanesque rustic capitals, alternate letters brown and red.
