Quires i-xiii (ff. 1-94) were apparently produced separately but in same format and at the same center as quires xiv-xxiv (95-180), virtually contemporaneously; see quire signatures and hands. Folia at front and end of codex damaged from mold at lower margin, many with modern mending.
