Written space: 211 mm x 125 mm 30 lines. ¶ Long lines. Dry-point ruling; single bounding lines in quires i-iv, additional line ruled 22 mm into margin at prickings in quires i-ii, double bounding lines in quires v-ix with prickings at outer bounding line.

Schrift und Hände

9c littera carolina, small module. 9 hands (see L.W. Jones, The Script of Cologne , p. 60); hand writing 1st and 4th quires is identified by H. Mayr-Harting (loc. cit.) with smaller gloss hand in Dombibl. Hs. 75.

Buchschmuck

  • Decorated 10-line initial, f. 2r, interlace in body of letter, red and brown;
  • brown 10-line initial, f. 3r;
  • titulus f. 1v in red square capitals, other tituli in rustic capitals (sometimes uncial E; in red f. 2r-v, in brown stroked with red f. 71r);
  • first lines f. 2r in hierarchy of square capitals and uncials (brown filled with red), first line f. 3r in brown rustic capitals.
