Schrift und Hände

Late 8c littera carolina. Four main hands:

A: ff. 2r-7r

B: 7v-58v

C: 59r-71r

D: 71v-114v

plus secondary hands.

Buchschmuck

  • 23-line decorated initial "I" on f. 2r, plus other 4- to 6-line decorated initials (interlace or simple stroked with red, with red dots f. 21v and 53v);
  • 1st line of titulus f. 2r in brown stroked with red, 2nd line in red, 1st line of text in outline square capitals and uncials;
  • other tituli and first lines in pen-decorated square capitals and uncials;
  • some incidental initials red;
  • no decoration on ff. 59r-114v (hands C and D).
