Zustand
First and last folia in bad condition, partly rewritten (probably by same 15c hand as notations throughout codex); lower 1/3 of f. 1 supplied by modern material, f. 112 backed with modern material, center section of 112v still visible.
Lagenstruktur
Entire codex: [1], i-xi8 (quires v and vi are in reverse order [ff. 41-48 should be between 32-33], 15c notes direct reader to correct order), xii8-1 (lacks original 6th [after 93]), xiii8, xiv10-1 (original 8th lost [after 110], remnants of text visible on stub), [1]. No quire signatures.

Schrift und Hände

littera carolina. One main hand, plus at least two other hands:

1st on ff. 62vb and 112rb

2nd on 64va line 31 -64vb and 95v-96rb).

Buchschmuck

  • 1- to 3-line simple black initials;
  • tituli in rustic capitals;
  • incidental initials often stroked with color;
  • space for illustrations ff. 65v-94r (Psychomachia), partly executed (perhaps slightly later) only on 65v (2 angels, winged Christ, kneeling bearded man all in a row);
  • sketches on ff. 66v-67r and erased f. 94v;
  • sketch of nimbed bust f. 1r.
