Schrift und Hände

The hand of this ms. is dated and briefly described by B. Bischoff, loc. cit. : "Ganz von einer spröden, karolingischem Duktus fremden Hd., X. Jh." Paris, BN, lat. 10,612 and 2175 (both 9c init.) are sister mss. to this ms. (Turner, op. cit. p. 82, and Griesser, op. cit., p. 53). Most of the texts in this ms. also occur in Paris, BN lat. 614A, ff. 92r to end (9/10c), Orléans, BM 313(266) (11c), and New York, Columbia University Plimpton 58 (from Southern France, 9c 2/3; information on the Plimpton ms. from David Ganz and Consuelo Dutschke, personal communications). The Titel: Ordines Christi (f. 118ra-b) occurs also in Cologne, Dombibliothek Mss. 15 and 81, and the Titel: Liber ecclesiasticorum dogmatum (ff. 2ra-11ra) is in Mss. 211 and 212.

contents on f. 1r by a different hand, contemporary or nearly so (uses "ri" and "st" ligatures).
