Zustand und Zusammensetzung

Lagenstruktur
Booklet I: i1+10 (1st leaf added 13- or 14c), ii-viii10, ix6-1 (lacks one at end, end of Hand A); Booklet II: x-xv8, xvi1+10 (one added at front [135], perhaps originally attached to quire xv, since change of hands occurs on next page [136r]); Booklet III: xvii-xix10, xx4, [1]. Distinction of three booklets according to quire signatures; same format and similar decoration throughout codex. ¶ Entire codex: Quire signatures I-VIII and catchwords on quires i and iii-vi, for Booklet I (some cropped off); and signatures II-IIII on xvii-xix, for Booklet III.
Seiteneinrichtung
Written space: 210 mm x 138 mm (column widths vary; 7 mm between columns). 41 lines, plus additional lines for gloss (number of added lines varies). 1 text column plus formal gloss column on both sides, plus another pair of lines ruled near edge of page to guide marginal glosses. Lead ruling, double bounding lines, two lines between columns prickings at edge of page, most trimmed off; prickings also in gutter of f. 135, no doubt because it is a single leaf. Scriptural book and chapter as running titles.
